On February 13, 2008, Vincent Schiraldi, Director, Department of Youth Rehabilitative Services (detention center) presented an award to Candace Wheeler and her volunteers for their Outstand Programs and Services to girls 11-17 at the youth detention center.
RM partners with a Christian residential facility in the DC metro area for placement of trafficked females 11-21 years of age. There are five group homes for girls and a school on 200 acres. There are 8-10 girls in each home with a married couple as house parents. These homes are not owned or operated by RM. Due to security reasons, we are not able to give the name of the program or location.
